1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using COMICPAD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

COMICPAD is an AI-powered comic book creation platform that allows users to generate comic books using artificial intelligence technology. The service includes character creation, story generation, and comic page rendering.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using COMICPAD, including generated characters and comics. By using the service, you grant COMICPAD a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service. You are solely responsible for the content you create.

5. Intellectual Property

The COMICPAD platform, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is the property of COMICPAD and is protected by intellectual property laws. Comics you generate are yours to use, share, and distribute.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use COMICPAD only for original creative storytelling. The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

Prohibited Content & Activities

  • Generating explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content
  • Creating content depicting real people without their explicit written consent
  • Reproducing copyrighted characters, trademarked properties, or intellectual property owned by others
  • Generating content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or harassment
  • Creating deepfakes or misleading content designed to deceive others
  • Creating characters that resemble real individuals without their consent
  • Using the service for fraud, impersonation, or any illegal activity
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass the AI systems or content moderation
  • Using the service for automated scraping, data extraction, or mass generation

Character Creation Policy

When creating characters, you represent and warrant that: (a) all characters are original and fictional; (b) characters do not intentionally resemble celebrities, public figures, or copyrighted characters; and (c) character descriptions and generated content comply with all applicable laws. COMICPAD reserves the right to remove content that violates these policies.

Content Moderation

All user inputs (including story prompts and character descriptions) and AI-generated outputs are subject to automated content moderation. COMICPAD reserves the right to refuse generation, remove content, or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy. We may report illegal content to law enforcement as required by applicable law.

7. Payments and Credits

Certain features require the purchase of credits or a subscription. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. All payments are processed securely by Paddle in accordance with applicable financial regulations.

8. Termination

COMICPAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

COMICPAD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, COMICPAD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

COMICPAD may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
